Liposuction is a procedure where subcutaneous fat (Fat under the skin) is removed by suctioning the fat out. This can be done through small (about 3-4mm) incisions hidden discretely in the skin crease. Usually about two incisions are needed per area treated. With the removal of the fat, area treated can be resculpted and re-contoured to achieve the desired effect.

Depending on your specific request, skin condition and the amount of fat needed to be removed the power assisted technique or ultrasonic assisted technique may be used. Liposuction may be used alone or as an adjunct to other procedures such as a tummy-tuck procedure.
